EPI Manager keeps evolving! This time, three major new features: a two-month trial with no feature limits, automatic product recall alerts, and a space to track your inspectors’ training. Not to mention a more practical PPE Register, an overhaul of login security, more generous pricing (100 free items for everyone) and many everyday improvements.
🎁 Try everything for two months
For the two months following the creation of your account, all the features of your plan are unlocked, including those reserved for paid plans: outing tracking, teamwork, inspection signing, offline operation. You can judge the tool on a real inventory before deciding anything. Emails guide you along the way (welcome, then reminders before the trial ends).
One more detail: the allowance of 100 free items is now reserved for your first organization. Subsequent ones start from zero and subscribe according to their volume.
🚨 Product recall alerts: never miss one again
A manufacturer is recalling a batch of carabiners or helmets? EPI Manager checks every day the recalls published on RappelConso (PPE and sports-leisure categories) and matches them against our catalogue. An administrator checks each recall before publication, to avoid false alerts.
- teams whose inventory is affected receive an email, only once per recall;
- the equipment record displays an alert banner (except for gear already scrapped);
- a Support > Recall alerts page lists all the recalls, the ones that concern you first.
🎓 Your inspectors’ training, finally tracked
Inspecting PPE involves people: being able to prove their training matters. The Documents tab now brings together the organization’s documents and the inspectors’ training certificates (file, training body, dates, validity period). This feature is reserved for Pro and Club plans. Recording remains optional: the application offers to centralise the management of everything related to PPE, but does not force it on you.
📅 Inspections at your own pace
Each organization chooses the frequency of its full inspections, from 1 to 12 months (12 by default), from its settings. Due dates are recalculated immediately. The PPE Register is also now available without any commissioning condition.
📒 PPE Register: a dedicated menu and a history
The PPE Register (all the life records of your inventory compiled into a signed PDF, with a cover page and table of contents) now has its own entry in the menu, under Documents. You can see the history of all the registers generated, with their status and content, and download any ready register, within 5 days of its issue.
🔍 Inspect even when the gear is out on an outing
A piece of equipment or an assembly engaged in an outing remains inspectable: ideal for checking gear in the field. Only editing and deletion stay blocked until it returns.
🎒 Outings: archive them, keep the history
Completed outings can be archived (and restored): the list stays readable, and the history is kept in a dedicated tab. An outing that has started can no longer be deleted, because it is part of the gear’s history.
📲 NFC: write a tag from your smartphone
On Android, you can now write an NFC tag directly from the browser or the installed app. And if you scan a tag while not logged in, you are redirected to the equipment record after you log in.
⚡ Faster data entry
- “Save and add another”: to enter a series of items, the form keeps what they have in common (reference, colour, measurements, labels, dates…) and only clears the serial number, the identifier and the photo. Same option for assemblies, outings, labels and members;
- a “+” button gives access to quick creation, depending on your rights;
- optional colour and measurements when creating equipment (except the length of ropes, cords and slings); equipment forms also gain a search in the list of categories;
- a language selector with a flag, saved on your account and found again on all your devices;
- calendar with a constant display height.

More than a hundred references added to the catalogue: Edelrid, Black Diamond, Singing Rock, Raümer, DMM, Grivel, Camp, Climbing Technology and Edelweiss.
💶 Pricing: 100 free items for everyone
- 100 items free for life for everyone: individuals, professionals and associations;
- from 1,000 items, for individuals and professionals, the tiers grow without their price changing: blocks of 100 (up to 2,000), of 500 (up to 5,000), then of 1,000, each at the price of a base tier. Applied automatically, no code needed;
- associations benefit from this too, from 2,000 items;
- a promo code can now be entered at the first paid subscription, in addition to any referral code or club code; it takes a percentage off the first payment;
- the pricing widget on our website is translated into French, English, Italian, Spanish and German.
🔒 Security and reliability
- Stronger separation between organizations, limited-use email links, login attempt limits, passwords checked before being saved.
- More reliable offline mode: synchronisation in order, per organization, consistent messages, cache cleared; actions that require the internet are clearly refused.
- Application updates: fix for blank-page cases caused by a corrupted cache.
- Legal notices: consent for audience measurement, clarifications in the Terms of Use / Terms of Sale and the privacy policy (only the French version is authoritative).

Private equipment and manufacturers shared with the team (with the creator displayed), automatic scrolling to the first error of a form, better mobile display of banners, and all the user documentation updated in French, English, German, Spanish and Italian.
